Youll never get it to hook, thats my point. Even at the track with a backhalfed truck youre never going to be able to get it to hook at full power.
I guess Im just wondering why spend on all the money on power you wont be able to use other than to say you have X amount of hp.
Not downing you, just wondering what the point is...

Ok Danny if you say so. With his truck being an extended cab its not going to get good weight transfer. Even guys with awd and a couple hundred less hp have problems getting their truck to hook. I know on my 418 on the street I was all over the place in 4hi so I guess Im just not seeing how hes going to make twice teh hp hook up.
Now if hes just doing it, to do it then great, he'll be eating Z06s from 80mph roll races all day long

the man building my link has a extended cab that hooks all day running 11s NA. honestly if it spins a little i dont care again i will have track times but im building a street truck. It will make stupid power that will probably be wasted but so what. Im just doing it like dan said because I can. it will be on a Greddy EBC and ill be able to dial it to prevent spinning on the street. Hopefully soon ill be getting you guys some updates. Im trying to stay focused on the LSX build and not blow money on the D MAX

good luck with this build jason .
if your game we should have a meet somewhere between us and have a friendly race . too similar trucks with similar setups . it would be alot of fun.

Damn, I'm gone 4 months and this is what happens when I leave you alone?!? Dave told be you did something crazy but...
Couple Q's for you...what's the compression ratio of that block once you get the heads spec'ed and mounted? Also is that block a TD or not?
What rear-end are you gonna go with? I think in order to hook your gonna have to ditch the leaf spring set-up and run some fatties in the back which will probably hurt the street manners of the truck.
Should be fun...
Subscribed for all the madness!!
Oh yeah, where's the Freaking update!!
