I didn't measure the shank, but the exposed threads are 14mm in diameter (measured using calipers).

I see what you mean about the fender gap between the tires but the stance still looks good lowered on some fat tires to me

...so assuming i'd run into rusty hardware/hard to access,i got the truck on my buddies hoist to install the Calvert shocks.
Turned out to be one of the easier jobs thus far! 20 min swap
Drilling the Calvert bushings to 14mm did the trick.
While i had a trip permit i went back to the local scrap yard to weigh the truck again to see how much i've knocked out of it.
So bone stock with half a tank 4800 lbs...
Minus the sway bar,cat-back,helper leafs/blocks,trailer hitch, spare tire and bracket and box liner, jack etc, with Bogarts, tank on empty 4220 lbs!!!
Its a very reputable business so i'm hoping the scale is good...
Kinda shocked though

So no update yet as i'm waiting to get the Z06 into storage and get the project into the garage for the winter.
I've created another distraction by selling my 10 driver to buy a NNBS Duramax ...i'm fucked as the Duramax will likely be a bit of a project toothis is the perfectly good one i got rid of...

Those 295s look like they fit better on those wheels than my 315s fit on 15x10s. I'm probably going to switch to the 295s when my tires are done.
