Jim,

Do you have any pictures of how you re-distributed the fuel spray better on the elbow's injectors? I'd like to see how you did it for future elbows. I've had a few guys want some similar to yours, but I'd like to get a better plan on positioning the injectors.

Check these pics out:

It would be nice if there was a company out there that makes/modifies injectors that specifically spray a really wide pattern for placement other than pointing directly at the intake valve.

The wagon is looking bitchin' man, good work.

hey aaron. we didnt get any pics. our aluminum welding skills suck, we didn't want to post up pics of out nasty tabs welded to that killer looking elbow. all we did was weld a 1/2" x 1/2" square tab right in front of the hole. the fuel stream hits the tab almost squarely but is deflected up maybe a little. runs good now.

we did try a few diferent injectors. one of wich is suppose to have a wide pattern. one set was "try cone", another set had 6 very small holes. first set was just one large hole.

please explain the cooler thing. why do you think it killed your tranny? i have used this cooler on several projects now with no issues.

that is in extra injector. we wanted to put a pair up stream to help give the meth time to work. i dont know if it will help but if nothing else it will give us a little more capasity with our fuel system. there will be 10 alcohol injectors.

I'm the only one that I've heard of that had an issue with the cooler.

On the way home from work one day, my trans got up to 250 deg. I got it home and idled the truck in park, trans oil temp went up. I quickly pulled the grill, used a water hose and soaked the cooler (while still idling) That is when I noticed the water boiling off one line and not the other. Touched the line with my hand it was COLD. Long story short, trans cooler plugged and it took the trans out.

Quick Reply: not a truck but it is a truck motor
