and since then, i've also added some Bilsteins to take care of the bouncing (the old shocks literally had no charge left in them!), and i also dropped 36 unsprung lb by swapping to some aluminum wheels

Go for the TVS 1900 on the 5.3L. It's a more efficient drive unit and the simpliest of the FI options out there to install. Glad to see your ride is alive and well, although all your pictures not longer work for me!

that's pretty much what i'd resolved to do...
then i started finding 2000 model FRC vettes with super-low miles for about $20k
that's when i said i'll "stop" with headers/cam on Penny & get a vette for the funner stuff

i knew some people were on the edge of their seats waiting to see how this turned out.
i've got a quote for some 4.30s & a truetrac but ain't pulled the trigger yet. cam's still on hold, too. that's partly because after i bought the car, i've dumped my pocket change into it instead - sad... i know
