I like the look of those Cragar's. If they actually tucked I'd run a set of the 15s.

Honestly, if you get it to hook up, you should put that thing into the 11s

I'm having cragar make a set of steel wheels that will tuck. Just having a hard time getting one of there vendors to order them for me. They claim the rear 15x10 wheels weigh 34 lbs and I can order them for $100 a wheel I'll definitely do that first before I go with bogarts

FML. Same bullshit as last time. Won't shift out of first gear. I'll upload a log file later

This run was better but I still had to let all the way out at the top if first.

That is heavy, heavy. That may even be more than my factory 20x8.5s.

My stock steel 16x6 weighed 25-26 lbs.

I'm not sure about Bogarts, but the Race Star 15s supposedly weigh 17 lbs. That's 17 lbs less, 34 lbs of rotational weight for 2 wheels. Even assuming 1 lb rotational weight = 4 lbs static weight, thats a theoretic 136 lbs weight reduction. But it may be even more than that, maybe worth up to 2 tenths at the 1/4 mile. $200 for Cragar's vs $550 for Racestars and $800 for Bogarts. Also, the Cragars wont look as good.

Crap man, if you're having to lift at the top of 1st, you could be looking at a whole second there! I've got my shifts set to 4600 to get it to **** where I want.

I have it set at 5000rpm right now. I'll move it down to 4600 and see what it does. I'd be impressed if I get into the 11's tonight. That 2.0 60' is about the best I can do with my 3.42. Will probably go to 3.90 soon

So the last run I set the shift point in first super low and it shifted at 5800. So I'll raise it back up a touch. I blew the tires off at the line. For a remarkable 2.5 60'. went 13.0 at 114mph.

Will you have a harder time hooking with 3.90s? Did you notice your rpm in 3rd when crossing?
