I finally put the hydrobooster in today. It is such an easy job but every freaking step fought me. Took me a long time to get it in but glad I stuck it out. It is night and day difference between the old vacuum assist bullshit. I can finally foot brake the truck up past 3000rpm. I think I got it up around 3400 or so which is way better than 2500 like it was before. I set the 2 step at 3200rpm and could make 7-8psi. Should only get better with tuning. Maybe I can turn up the 2 step and leave on 10psi. Tomorrow I'll put the drag radials on it and see how high I can launch it with this converter.
Quick question for you hydroboost guys. How hot do you hydroboost lines get? After I parked the truck, I touched them and they were piping hot. I couldn't hold my fingers on them for more than a second. Is this normal?

If you drive your truck a lot, I would do 91/meth. I just got tired of having to go to the gas station so much since there isn't E85 at every station. Kind of had to plan ahead when driving the truck to make sure I could make it an E85 station. No doubt that E85 is best for high horsepower and drag racing. But I drive my truck to much to want to worry about it.
