Yea and you're 4wd. That's my point. I need to go on a diet if I want to run some okay times at the track. Ohhh street truck problems.

awesome build thread, thanks to this thread my work day flew buy and i am now convinced i want to go turbo rather than procharged. Ohand please get this truck to the track asap, ive seen 4.8s stock internals go mid 10s down here in the valley (south texas) im sure this truck is very very capable of it.

I'm planning on going to the track tomorrow night but it certainly won't be a 10 second pass . Since I'm fuel limited right now, I'm only able to run 12psi. So my goal is to hit 11's tomorrow on 12-13psi with strait pump gas. I should be able to get my 60' down under 2 seconds since the traction mods and hydroboost went into the truck. Should be interesting.

If I don't hit 11's tomorrow I'm going to put the 3.42's back in the truck. I have a 30 min highway cruise everyday to and from work and I like to daily my truck so it just makes sense to have a highway cruiser for the time being.

4800lbs with me in it.. So how do I loose 1000 lbs?
Ahh ****, ext cabs way 4-500lbs more than single cabs correct? I have stereo plus 83lbs wheels/tires. This brings up a question, what wheels were on the truck when it was weighed? not that 50lbs really matters at this weight level haha

Stock GM 17" wheels with nitto 275/60-17. I think the wheels come on 2010 tahoes or suburbans. No idea how much they weigh but they aren't that heavy.

Decided to make my doggy 4.8L even worse with this chunk of aluminum. I've had it for like 6 months but never installed it. I bought a meth pump from BlackGMC and decided to install this at the same time while the truck is parked. I need to order some stuff from summit like the meth controller and a couple AN fittings. But I'm excited to get it ready for the last track day of the year in a few weeks. TBSS/NNBS intake is for sale by the way if anyone needs one.

No it doesn't come with the throttle body. I think its around $600 or something. It comes with the fuel rails and hardware.

I'll be curious to see how much of a difference there is in power out of boost and spool time.
