Possible new build?? Joe Gibbs!!!!

The Gibbs trucks are supposed to have an RPO code of PCX. That is no Guarantee as not all had the RPO Code. It all depends on how Gibbs Purchased the truck through GM.
In 05 They made everything from a base model truck with Vinyl stickers to fully loaded with bumpers and a supercharger. I believe the 04's were more of a standard package deal with or without the supercharger whereas the 05s could be purchased in different packages from base to fully loaded. They were only made for 2 years and its believed there were less than 700 total for each year.
Black seemed to be the most popular color.
It's too bad you didn't get the documentation with it.
Still a nice truck, just needs some elbow grease to polish it up.

Be careful with that 2WD short bed! Don't want to end up like this guy! Isnt this a fellow member? - Duramax Diesels Forum
I spent a good 45 minutes scrubbing them today. I was able to confirm they are indeed a polished tip under all that grime.. still have some more love to give them though.
Thanks! RCSB trucks are just lots of fun. Plus I forgot how nice they are in a parking lot.

So I got the thing washed and clay bar, still need to wax and buff out all the scratches and what not and polish the rims back to life. Also need to tackle the inside.
So brother came over later in the day and figured since he is here I should obviously put him to work. So we did an oil change and greased all the fitting in the front...which look to have not been touched in quite some time.
Oh also painted the bow tie... cause we were bored.

Oh.. and one last thing. Visited a friend today to pick up his buffer and he had this in his yard..
6.0 and 4l80 2wd van.
He has a newer 6.0 and 4l80 that he is wanting to swap into this and asked if I was interested in the setup currently in the van. Both have a couple hundred thousand miles but motor fired right up and sounded good and he just drove it up from the lower 48 to Alaska pulling a trailer and it did great for him.
Not sure on the price yet but he said he would cut me a good deal if I help him pull it all.

Good Deal!!! It would still be nice to have the original Paper works from Joe gibbs since that division is no longer around to get the info from. Still a cool truck, Hope you have fun with it.
I believe the front suspension used was Ground force. The cat back was Corsa, I also believe you can still purchase the Carbon fiber covers that are supposed to be around the super charger. Everything else is hard to find. The Inventory of NOS front bumper's for the Silverado's is now gone. So what ever is left out there is it.

Ground force was the RST trucks, the JG trucks weren't lowered in the front to my knowledge... Just shackles out back. Came with 275/55R20s as a result instead of the 265/50s on the Regency.
