Really liking the look of the JG rims right now. I do think a set of TBSS reps would look sick on it but I think I will wait till I am tired of the JG rims before changing that up.

Shoot me a PM if you are interested in parting with any of that.

This truck is a dealer installed optioned JG truck. There is no dash plaque with the build number and 99.9% JG trucks that went through JG had the front bumper. It was in the base standard package when the dealer or customer ordered the truck. This truck was purchased from a JG authorized Dealer and had the few JG parts installed my a tech at the dealership -or- the dealership ordered it as a showroom truck and bought the parts as an add-on. We had one local here when it was new that had the same stuff on it and the RPO code, but was sold as a 5.3L all power truck and the price detail with the few options. They also made it clear it was just add-ons and not a "numbered JG truck".

The one man to call with a VIN lookup is no longer. He was the guy you called for warranty items and when all the trucks went out of warranty (36 months) he shut it down.

They were only outfitted with shackles... the springs are the same as any other silverado. Now some were said to have a larger bar up front but I know mine did not. <<<<< Words from JG when I asked.

Hope you find the parts you want.

When I sold mine I had the tailgate badge and door badges removed. I...in good faith sent them to a guy in Florida that said he was going to use a CNC program and make a set for himself and send them back.... That was back in 2007... haven't heard from him since

That makes a little more sense. I was a little bummed when I saw it didn't have the front bumper cause I love the way it looks but I will come up with something. Either color match the stock front end or get a SS cover or something else for it.

It says it has code "Z85" Heavy Duty suspension increased capacity chassis package. This was the only thing I could find relating to the truck and would make me think it has something different from stock. I haven't crawled under the back of the truck yet to see what the rear looks like.

Thanks. Was glad a lot of the smaller scratches and imperfections were able to be cleaned up. There is still some chips and a couple deeper scratches that I will have to live with for now.

Tinted the lights, painted front grill and polished up the rims. Think I will spend the next few days with wife before she kills me lol. Been spending lots of time in garage.

Oh... also remembered why I love these older trucks. Took me 3 minutes to get this torn apart.

Brother masking off for paint

Then went out and snapped some new pics.
