Thanks for the compliments. I noticed that it had a nice wide LSA, so yea the idle will be very nice and smooth. Just what I wanted in that dept. You think with the 243 heads, I should mill them down more? Im thinking from what I read, just having the smaller combustion chambers will increase my compression to ~10.1:1, correct? Im kind of slow when it comes to math

Im wanting to use this truck as just a fun driver. Im most likely not going to track it often. Just pretty much spirited driving. Think that cam will work out?

I saw several nice C10's with LS swaps at Crusin' the Coast last weekend and it has me itching to do one. I look forward to seeing how yours turns out. You've done a nice job with it so far.

Im really liking this build, i wanted to do a LS chevelle but after seeing this kinda bouncing ideas around lol... If you dont mind could you show pics of the suspension and how you went about doing it all.

After lookin back over it i didnt realize that cam had so much lift, I would probably just have the heads surfaced to have a true surface if you have not done so yet and raise hell with it!

sounds like the cam is meaning some serious business... id def go for some PTV clearance checking.
