got a few things done today, flexplate (80ftlbs) & crank bolt (150ftlbs) torqued down (red loctite on both) (30w motor oil under the head of the ARP flexplate bolts, GM high pressure lube under the head of the crank bolt). Also re-flared the stock fuel line (37deg, looks much better now); all I need is a few AN fittings, some hose, and a filter and I'll be good to go for the fuel system.

if you look closely you can see the kent moore crank holding tool inside the window of the flexplate

Read somewhere that GM's insistence on tightening the devil out of the crank bolt was to ensure the pulley was seated all the way onto the snout. Of course Grip's setup is different. BTW thanks for the info Grip. It's due to arrive tomorrow.

I fully seated the IW damper on my setup with GM's installation tool, plus it's keyed, so the 150ftlbs is just for insurance.........I hope
