cool, I'm expecting it to be a non issue once polished............although there is a lot more hassle and effort doing it this way, I think the end result will be stellar!

Look at the machined areas and you can see it'll polish up nicely.
The down side is that you'll have to hand rub it out once a month, or more if near the coast to keep it looking nice.
I'm looking at polishing my wheels and hating life right now.

I think it looks fine; I would leave it like it is.
