I asked them about that a while back and they said running it in the I/C was NOT the right application for it and stick with 50/50

We run Evans coolant on wet sleeve blocks to help with air pockets. Tried it on stock blocks and it never worked. We had to pull timing due to KR from the higher heat.

Here is the Rad we ran in our 408ci/S85mm truck. It is a early 90's truck style radiator from Jegs.2 core aluminum. It's huge and this truck would not get over 185 degree's in 100 degree heat sitting in traffic(probly be lower if we had better fans). After a 3 gear WOT pull temps would climb to the 180's at most.

Evans has it's place but I wouldn't run it in a truck setup like the one's listed.

I sure would like some more feed back on the evens system, kinda late for me since the water pump, T-stat and new radiator is already bought.

Sorry for Hi-jacking your thread Devin.

been thinking about a break-in schedule for the engine, as of today I think it's going to look like this:

0-100miles 30wt petroleum
100-500miles 30wt petroleum
500-2500miles 15w-40 petroleum
normal intervals after 2500 miles will be a blend of synthetic motor oil

something like 4 qts of 10w40 2 qts of 20w-50 or
5 qts of 10w40, 1 qt of 20w-50

I think you have too much time to think about things.

I wouldn't worry about the viscosity steps personally (and wouldn't mix viscosities when you blend). I'd also just buy a blended synthetic rather than blending by the quart like that. That way you know the chemistry is exactly what you want.
