NOW TIME TO TEST AND SEE IF THE CLEARANCES NEED TO BE FIXED


IVE HAD TIGHT TOLERANCE BOLTS CHROMED AND IT SCREWED UP THE FIT AND THE THREADS BOUND ALMOST IMMEDIATELY

no issues, they all fit perfect, just a few accent pieces to complete the look, they really just disappear.

Hey Grip,

What did you use or plan to use to hold the wire harness cables in place so they don't flop all over the place? I'm finding that the stock GM ring clips are a PITA and am wondering if you have a better way?

the plan is to use none. the heat shrinking we use is 3M for the most part and when it's shrunk down it gets real stiff (please don't go there); we actually end up having to heat it some to make the bends, when it cools it is locked into place pretty good.

In dealing with the harness, you're going to need a half dozen guys to handle the wires, huh?

Yeah but is it going to go flexible again at 200*? It'd suck to see a bunch of "loom sag" after the first drive...

Joe has done this a few times before (first time for me) and he hasn't had those problems so I'm thinking I'm ok
