Project "Blown HD" my 6/8 drop/shortblock/heads/cam/blower/tranny install
#2134
mocked up my braided lines today, I used the Teflon braided lines because I have heard of the rubber variety deteriorating over time and even smelling of fuel once compromised. They aren't the prettiest setup but if I choose to leave well enough alone they will stand the test of time. If you remember I omitted the Magnacharger fuel manifold in favor of a split Y arrangement and kept all my feed lines with no greater than 45deg turns in an effort to maximize fuel supply; still keeping the balance tube up front. The -4 lines you see in the pic are vacuum and fuel pressure respectively:

Looks good Grippy, I like the Y fitting rather than the 'block'. I'm sure it will help even the flow between the rails and have less resistance.
Are you going to hook up the big rear PCV nipple on the inlet?

Yup, I know what you mean. If you are going to leave the nipple on the inlet of the J tube and the little 1/8th" nipple on the lower manifold capped, change the caps to rubber. I left some vinyl caps on the nipples I didn't need to use and they dry out and crack.
