Devin,
I'll be pullin' for you on your Chief's Test. I assume you're talking Chief Petty Officer. I've heard that it's a pretty tough test/review board.
I'll bet that you will do fine. It's obvious to me that you pursue excellence in all that you do!
All my best,
Steve

Update:
Truck is at a stand still. We got some emergent tasking a few days ago and I will be getting underway shortly for quite some time. Obviously I can't say when I'm leaving, where I'm going, or when I'm getting back but suffice to say I won't be around much at all.
What I do need is some advice on preserving the internals....am I good to go?
Everything is sealed off so no air is getting into anything.....
being back on Sea Duty really takes ALL my time...I don't see much reprieve for the next couple of years, DUTY CALLS!!! I'm either working all day/night or just so exhausted all I can do is nod off in my chair at home, lol.
I'll have one more block of time to have a chance of finishing it around APR/MAY time-frame but after that I'm completely out of time. At that point I'd REALLY like(my goal) to get it to a point where it can be started every week to circulate the fluids while I'm away for our Western Pacific Deployment.
thanks for tuning in

Devin,
I'd check with Richard and Rex on their advice as to what to do. I know that on recip powered airplanes, we have a procedure to pickle the engine where we spray a parafin based oil (light coat) in all cylinders and install spark plug like silica gel units in place of the spark plugs. There are probably some other things you can do.
I wish you the very best as you get ready for this major change to your life. Keep us posted along to the extent that you can.
All my best,
Steve

I was looking around for paint jobs on different items and this caught my eye. That was a very nice job on the fiber glassing and painting. Very cool look to the truck when you hop in it I'm sure.
