You've come a long way since that 1500HD from waaaay back, and this certainly turned out leaps and bounds better!
OMG, you remember the red 1500HD? I Really loved that truck

More progress!

The truck has a Solid break-in tune loaded. Thanks Joe!
Details: We started with the basics and got it idling nicely in gear and out, really a pretty smooth cam for a 224/238 on a 116, once you give it just a little rpm you can't even tell it's there. Exhaust note is as I remember it, having a nice "tuned" sound to it, nothing obnoxious; progressed to light throttle, then regular driving type stuff, no boost. Went up a hill(my street) saw 1lb of boost under a steady load, then we went down a back road, got her up to 2-3lbs of boost, no problems, no belt issues; next goal was 5-6lbs of boost, didn't make it, went right on by 5-6 and saw 9lbs of boost at about 1/3 throttle (Rex, that ought to be good for the rings!, woot woot!)
After the converter got everything it needed, tranny fluid was down about a quart in a half. Everything else checked out A-ok.
So how did it feel with 9lbs? Fast! lol, maybe because I haven't had boost in so long......................the truck was starting to move pretty rapidly though.
the blower (MP122HH) is VERY quiet at this boost level, I could hardly hear the thing at 9lbs of boost, I was surprised on that one, expected it to be louder, kind of a new characteristic! LOL.
Some data points: No KR what-so-ever, running about 17deg of timing, 104 deg IAT's @ 9lbs of boost, and LPE's MAF tables seem to be spot on
Trans felts great, the converter softened the shifts up a bit(good thing), but it is nice and tight shifting.
The converter does feel a little looser off idle vs the stock converter and I was expecting that so no surprises there.
Like I said, so far so good. Now it's time to go have some fun or was that cut the grass???? hmmm................

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
