Did Rex have advise for seating the rings? The boost would create plenty of cylinder pressure to push the rings against the walls, is there an RPM limit you are sticking to for the few hundred miles?

Your 2 mile break in is only a tad bit slower than Rex's and my break in.
I'm certainly glad to see your under the narcosis of boost once more.

That's because I have no control of my right foot when I'm driving that Chevelle and that sweet smell of rubber and the sound of A BBC at 8000 gives me wood! Stoichiometric I agree with you on the break in procedure. Load the engine with A little boost as this keeps the rings pressed against the cylinder walls.Change the oil,check for any K R under load and if all looks well let it rip. Rex....
