It's not 100% done but done enough for now. I'm out of here for a while unfortunately but I should still be online from time to time, especially when we hit liberty ports and I can get some Internet connectivity

see you guys in 6 months!
Congrats Grip! I can imagine the big relief your feeling having your project road worthy

thanks guys

latest:
the wife started the truck for the first time about a 1.5 weeks ago, ran for about 30secs then died. A few days ago she tried again, ran for about 5 secs then died.

The only thing I can think of is the warmer weather is causing this to happen, thoughts?
Obviously, there's not a whole lot I can do from out here, just need some suggestions.
I don't think we nailed the cold start spot on, but we were confident it was good enough to idle and such while I was away.
I'd really like to be able to run the truck longer than a few seconds, keep everything lubricated you know, it will be sitting a long time.

Thanks,
Grippy

Your plugs are F-O-U-L-E-D.She could probably hold the rpms up a little after start up for like 15sec.Then let it idle down I used to do this when my truck was untuned.

Have her look at the gauges. Whats fuel pressure, and wideband reading? My guess is the AFR,s are lean, so lean its dieing. From what I have seen overly rich conditions on cold starts the motor will stay running, but die from overly lean conditions. I would look into tuning.

Ya, I have seen anything above 15.8 afr start to affect idle quality but I have seen mine idle at 11.0-1 and idle fine.
