In my experiance the best place for the big H/E is up against the cooling system stack. It FORCES the air to go THOUGH the H/E. If you can get it up against the A/C condenser you would be ahead of the game.

Finally figured out how I wanted to mount the CTS-V Heat Exchanger. With a relief cut I was able to fit some 3/4 x 3/4 aluminum square stock in the upper A-Frame area without interfering with the hood latch. This is still very rough as I'll need some spacers made along with lower mounts and some finish work to get it all looking sanitary:

Lookin good Grip! I see that the new TVS intercooler lines exit on passenger side now.Where does you reservoir tank mount?

Just this style has the intercooler in/out located on the passenger side, the truck kits have them in the rear pointing to the drivers side.

nice, Why does the cts-v have the bigger heat exchanger? is it mounted horizontally or something?
