Thank you, Sir!

One more, was that end to end or just case length?

Cool

I have adjusted mine to:

Front shaft down 2* to rear.
Rear shaft down 2* to rear.
Pinion yoke face 92*. ( facing up to front)

It still feels to me like it is binding a little when I first accelerate. I have never felt any real vibration either but I cannot seem to get rid of the feeling that the u-joints are bound up a little when I accelerate from a dead stop.

Measure the pinion face and see what you get.

I have a 2pc drive shaft and experience absolutely zero vibration, here are the drive shaft angles:

rear shaft @ differential yokes:

rear shaft @ carrier bearing yokes:

front shaft @ slip joint

front shaft @ transmission yokes

Nice to know, but there are a few factors left on the table when doing it that way.
The main one being how level the ground is that your vehicle is setting on.
That could throw a few of us off if it is not setting at a 0* level from the beginning.
I need to check mine as well. The 2" shackles only gave me a vibration from a standing start up until 20mph. That is only under any given acceleration.
Mines probably setting close to 2* at the driveshaft going into the pinion.
It looks almost level with the driveshaft now.
Hey Moregrip, are you using shackles and hangers??? I see the Caltracs! I like.
Either way, nice write up. Just very curious on how sure you are about the truck setting on level ground.
