Talk to Rex about quench... I have no doubt you guys will make the best decision on head gasket thickness vs desired static CR. Ask Rex about your cam and see what he says about dynamic CR...

You're on track grippy!!!

What size chambers are you planning to run?My CNC ported chambers measure 79ccs,my pistons are .011 out of the hole with a -17cc dish, with a final compression ratio of 8.8to1 and 6.125 Scat h-beam rods.

Solid job Grippy. It looks likes miles of smiles on tap
Tomorrow will see a major part of the project done. It's a very nice engine build worthy of the big Mag.
See ya bright and early. Get some rest tonight friend. Tomorrow's a busy day.

My combustion chambers are 73.5cc's, -3cc valve reliefs, .008 in the hole, and as of now stock GM MLS gaskets. .054 is what I've seen typically used for compressed gasket height calculations. These rods are also 6.125

I'm switching to a 8rib blower/pulley setup. It will have pulleys made by Metco, ATI, Magnuson, and Innovators West. the crank balancer has a natural aluminium finish.

Bill, sup brother!

We will be degreeing the cam tomorrow. Ed Curtis has already address excessive cylinder pressure with this new bumpstick, it will handle 10-1 CR and boost no problemo
