Yep, will probably be collecting parts over the next couple months and then send the short block out to get built. I should have the block after x-mas. Think I'm going to do an LS6 based 346 or 382. The block will be coming with forged pistons for a 4" stroke crank. We'll see... you know how things are fluid until the last moment. One thing is for certain... I'm going to have to build a tranny. Been thinking about trying to do it myself...

I wasn't sure about how to install the new damper so I just followed Innovatives instructions which was to apply red loctite liberally around the crank snout/damper ID to prevent the two metals from direct contact, I did use anti-sieze on the keyway as well

yes I considered the ATI but it was a few dollars more than the Innovative. I don't know if ATI has a truck balancer available yet (probably so at this point)
I sent a stock GM damper in to Innovative for my current 8"/8rib setup, so I know for sure they have what they need to make a truck balancer in any configuration you'd like.
