I'm not sure I completely like it yet.....might be a scosche to shiny for me.....I'll wait until I get it out in some natural daylight to make a final decision......if it ends up being too shiny then I'll re-tape and throw a very light coat of satin black on there..........tape off all the blower ribs so they stay shiny and apply the satin in the valleys "type of a thing"

Bill, I thought very seriously about a wrinkle finish but in the end just went with a gloss black, same paint I used on the block (KISS)

Looking good man, I agree with you on the shinny part. It might be a bit too much, I think the flat black would look sweet. Non the less your ride your choice.

Before you do anything crazy like ruining that great paint, mock it up in the engine bay with the hood open. I have gloss black in my bay and it looks sharp (of course the polished bits draw your eye away so...)
