The truck is likely not from AZ. The OP should call his local dealer with the VIN and find out where it was sold originally. Anybody in the service department can look it up for him. He could also learn the service history. Apparently it hasn't had any transmission overhauls/failures in a while.... That's a good thing, right?

Yes its from Ohio. No gym refund necessary Roger, I've been letting gravity do the hard work. Smartass lol. I sprayed a shitload of penetrating oil in the pins and it didn't do anything. Its been sitting overnight though, so I will go out and give it another shot.
The rust honestly hasn't been that bad. I expected the worst on the exhaust manifold studs, but they weren't too difficult at all.

If you got an air hammer with a punch bit or even a long punch and a big hammer you can hit the dowel pin towards the engine. Its work great for the dozen transmissions that I have replaced hear in the salt belt area I am in. Then just anti-sieze them when going back together.

I ended up getting it off this morning after I posted last. Just took a little well-placed hammering and prying lol. Engine is about ready to come out. After that turd is out of the way, I'm going to camp in the engine bay for like half an hour and spray everything with rust neutralizer to convert this Ohio truck into an Arizona truck.
Just have a few more things to verify on the wiring and the new harness should be ready to go in. Still waiting on trans parts... Placed an order with transtar last week and went down to there today to find out nothing was ever shipped here. So, just have to wait a couple more days.
I did find what looks to be a rats nest under the intake manifold, pretty sweet...
Funny that the only thing keeping the top of the intake runners clean is the fuel spraying on it.
