I have the 258mm. Pro Stage III 258mm Multi Disk Truck Torque Converter For GM 4L80

Yank felt great, wish I could get that feeling back. It just felt like a delay in engagement, but when it hit that flash point it pulled like an ox. When this one flashes, the engine just pushes through it with little resistance from the converter.

being that youve had this trans for a while i doubt this is your problem, but what youre describing sounds EXACTLY like what my trans/converter was just doing when the boos valve in my pump was stuck and the converter wasnt filling with fluid. but since the valve was stuck the rest of the trans wasnt getting any fluid pressure either so it burnt up within 100 miles or so. just a thought....

and i know theres always going to be negative feedback for any one or any company but im yet to have a single complaint with Chris or CircleD! great customer service and a great product that he stands behind time and time again

Yeah, I've had that pump apart several times and inspected by others more knowledgeable than myself, and its checked out good every time. Who knows

I will agree that Chris' customer service has been great since day 1, I've had no problems there. But being that there are several others like myself having issues with these converters, I will be switching back to a Yank when the time is right.

Nothing engine related, fortunately! After I turned up the boost last night I popped the flex joint for the turbo crossover. Had it on 20-22psi or so, racing a Dodge Caliber with a 62mm turbo on 23psi, and heard a little pop around 150mph lol. This guy was nuts, he wanted to run to 180...I was like hmm I am driving a pickup Other race was a turbo fox body weighing in at 2900lbs. He pulled me slowly on the roll but it was murder from a dig. Will get videos up soon!

The new toy:

Was expecting an LY6, but still not entirely sure what the engine code is yet... It is an LS2 block, has LY6 pistons and L92 heads. Has DOD and VVT, and came out of a hybrid escalade. Anyone know what this particular engine is?
