So... cliff notes:

last Sunday those bolts left the chat at a steady 70 mph. No idea why, never had converter bolts do that. Yesterday, decided to swap in that B&M 3400-3800 RPM stall that I bought a decade ago. I like the fact that it uses 6 bolts instead of 3 like my last 2 converters.

So far, good. Defintely feel the difference even normal driving. I went 1.81 60ft on the FTI in March, I definitely have a 1.7x in it this fall.

The bolts in my FTI came loose several times and elongated the flex plate. Seems like a common complaint.

Did not know that, maybe I need to extract the broken bolts and list it on marketplace. Other than the mishap, it's been a decent converter.
