Lol, yeah figured out between my exhaust leak and noisy converter I had to dial back my knock sensor sensitivity at low rpms. At first I just took timing out then i caught on that wasn't my issue. I'll get it figured out. Be home this weekend and Kyle at TMS gave me the green light to start boosting her with 100 miles I got it. Pretty excited!

Hey all, wanted to share a little follow up on my build. She broke the 500 miles mark so she got to do some real work this weekend. Couple days of boating, then a little trip to our local 1/8th mile.

Was first time going over 5500rpm and fresh start on track tune with the 2-step. Anyways, looking at the logs, boost was 12psi dropping to 11 above 5800, shifting at a easy 6100 area. Pretty damn happy, should get interesting with 12 more psi, nitrous, rpm! Felt great to hittin that throttle again! :cheers

Nothing crazy on the video, first pass was a 7.05@102, 1.70 60. I cleaned up the tune and added 2 degree's to it up top. Also left at 3600 instead of 3400. I think once I turn up the boost, I'll be able to leave around 3500 with better results.

That would still be a 10 sec 1/4 correct. Very nice for the first time out and truly test and tuning.

Whats your thoughts of the towing power in vacuum between the 4.8 and the new setup?

Thanks man! As for dyno, i'm not sure yet. I want to get some racing in before she gets a date on the dyno.

Looking at old time slips, that would have been in the 10.5 1/4 mile area.

She's got more grunt in the 2.5k on up area. Kind of a toss below that as I think the mid 230x cam isn't a good choice for power below 2000 anyways.
