AFAIK, modding the neck there is the only thing that was done. The belt isn't riding in the same spot on the bell as the car belt, but it has plenty of room to still sit on the bell w/o slipping. If that makes sense.

I'll ask my friend at Speedfab today and see if they did anything else to get it on there.

Well, I'm picking the truck up tonight. From what I'm being told, it hauls ***. Dyno'd over 450/450, just haven't seen the sheet yet to get the exact numbers.

Not bad for ported LS6 heads and a stock truck intake w/ 78mm TB.

That will make for a nice driver. Killer setup.

Got plans for some big heads in the future?

Just got back from the truck's maiden voyage. Man, the cubic inches really make a HUGE difference. Instant torque and surprisingly snappy throttle response. It rides out!

Pewter53: I actually have a 90mm TBSS intake, but I'm not sure if I'm going to use it or go with something like the Eddy Pro-Flo XT. I haven't seen the dyno sheet yet, but from what I was told the power falls off up top.

Jordan: No plans for any other heads right now. The heads are PRC Stage IIIs, and Patrick Guerra spec'd the cam for these heads and an LS6 intake. Maybe someday down the road I'll step up to a bigger head, but for now these will do.

Just a quick update...no pics yet, but I have an Edelbrock Pro-Flo XT intake sitting up at Speedfab. I also have a FAST 92 TB, some GMPP "Chevrolet" valve covers, and am looking into getting a coil relocation kit.

Hope to have some pics of the new direct-port setup soon. I think it's going to look killer on this new manifold!
