Thanks man. The IC came with the KB-racing kit, I'd assume it's one of the ebay cores, nothing to fancy. I've thought about upgrading to a good Garrret or PTE core honeslty.

aye how bad is that 2-3 shift on the nvg3500? i'd imagine a good .5 second of a shift? what're you going to upgrade to auto. or another manual?

Honestly, even though this trans is a fresh (20k) old trans, it really doesnt shift at all on a 2-3. It's doesnt grind in normal driving, but under a hard second gear it is simply locked out of 3rd. I'm guessing something to do with the TQ binding something up internally as this wasn't a problem pre-turbo. I'm also getting signs in logs the clutch is slipping on the spray.

It needs to go to an auto, just been putting it off.

I was thinking FLT 65e, level 5 or 7, running a manual valve body with this shifter setup. Was thinking the 23inch setup to come right up to where my 5 speed is currently, but now it's a bump and shift type setup with a built auto.

Careful with those manual valve bodies...they can spell disaster if you accidentally shift into too low of a gear all of a sudden.
