CEL is gone and there is a noticeable difference in power and DIC mileage
Not really sure what happened but my best guess is that my oil change freed up the turbo. I don't know but I'll be watching it. Don't want to get too excited just yet. I remember reading about oil changes when getting this code and apparently that is something they ask about. The last time this truck's oil was changed was 2 or 3 years ago. I put like 400 on it before I was able to get the oil and then I changed it Monday. Yesterday the truck seemed to drive better but who knows. Keeping cash in the bank in case I need it, still getting my scanner on Tuesday.

If you feel the oil change had something to do with it, Put Some Hot Shots Stiction eliminator in there.

Come over then cx
That is the only thing I can think of. Two people have mentioned the solenoid getting gunked up to me, @smokinlmm and a guy from another board who is a diesel tech. He said that he has had the solenoids get stuck before but sometimes they get loosened up. I have no idea how exactly they work and what they interact with. I know they have something to do with oil but I could not tell you. I would have to read more about it.
All I'm saying is, I changed my oil Monday and four days later the code is gone and the truck is running better. Could always be placebo though.

Hmmm well I’ve got my eye on it. I’ve got my tarminator and new door sill so will work on that in the morning.

Good to know I was onto something with that
Used the tarminator and damn that stuff worked pretty good. Used about almost a whole can and got a lot of it off but I will still need to go back over it once or twice more. It is pretty caked on there and I am sure it has been there for a while.
I will order some of that stiction eliminator and empty about a quart out from my oil and add it in.
Edit: Short lived success, came on last night again.

Installed my new driver door sill and installed LEDs in the cab except for the dome light, didn't have any extras for that one. The map lights didn't work when I got the truck and I figured out why. I believe the headliner has been redone, well whoever redid it plugged the onstar harness into the map lights and just tucked the map light harness up in the ceiling. Pulled it down and plugged it in and boom, lights work.
