Did some maintenance items this weekend.
  • New fuel and air filters
  • New driver side fog light since it was beyond polishing
  • New license plate light lenses since they both were cloudy and broken just barely hanging on
  • New license plate LED bulbs since they were burnt out as well
Also noticed that my air box is cracked. I probably will leave it alone but that is pretty stupid, how the hell do you even do that lol

Probably some one broke it when they serviced it... While you are under the hood, is there 2 wires going to the coolant bottle for a sensor???

Underneath the bottle is like a three wire sensor. I can’t really see it but I can sort of feel it

That’s the coolant level sensor correct? Felt like 3 wires at least.

edit: pic wouldn’t load

There is 4 wires, 2 black, 1 green, 1 blue. 1 black and blued go to the AC dryer on the fire wall.m the other black and the green were ripped off. Only thing that wasnt pluged in was the coolant bottle. But the one they scabbed on this truck doesnt have a sensor.

Getting weird light flickering when starting the truck or just opening the door. All interior lights and my license plate lights are doing it. Once I get to work and shut the truck off though it is all good. Need to monitor voltmeter when it is doin it
Also randomly keep getting service brake system flash on the dash and then goes away, start the truck and it shows up before showing the normal DIC. No ABS light on or anything like that. Does not happen every start either. I'll put the scanner on it though.
Wonder if my voltage regulator is going bad in the alternator. I'll keep rockin it for now, I am expecting new batteries to come after the winter.

Edit: Also my stereo LCD screen keeps going in and out. It will be either super dim or off sometimes after starting the truck up and then come back on maybe 5 minutes later. Might be time to get the bluetooth upgrade I was looking at

Sounds like a grounding issue.

I thought about a radio like that but I think I would rather have an aftermarket unit that I can use android auto or apple car play app to synch to my phone.

Should’ve included my picture of 12 volts upon start up. Goes to 14 after driving and everything works once I get home. Do need to clean engine grounds though. Truck may be down this weekend and I should have some time to touch one or two of them up.

Yeah I agree but don’t think I want a touch screen or phone callability
