Fortunately space wouldn’t be the big issue. I’d just have to get a new air compressor and buy all the equipment.

Used market is your friend for air compressors. I sometimes see 80+ gallon 7.5 HP Quincy, Champion and similar industrial compressors used for good deals. Some even come with stuff like intercoolers and low oil shutdown switches.

A true 5HP is probably bare minimum for doing modest automotive finishing, although a lot of guys get by with the consumer 60 gallon that are around 3.2 HP.

Tuned it today. Pedal and idle are miles better than they were.
Waiting on my switch.

Finally got my DSP5 switch in the other week and boy is this truck a completely different beast now. Super impressed with this.
I used the Longhorn Fab cigarette lighter mount to mount the switch to my center console. Really like this mount although I did have to super glue it rather than it just clipping in place. No big deal.

Also added a USB-C charging port on the right side. Haven’t used that yet so I can’t say how well it works.

Also I finally got around to claying and sealing the whole truck. It’s been parked in the garage these past couple weeks though. The city tore up the road I take to work and it’s a dust storm. Decided to drive the Silverado for a bit anyway.

Oil changed and PPE magnetic drain plug installed. P/N: 114052001
264k I believe, about 7k on that interval.

@dantheman1540 talked me into the magnetic drain plug

I would have to change the title to (EXCITING) and I can't do that without a mod.
