@shakenfake If you do, consider it a yearly maintenance item. Less than 1k miles and you'll see it weeping.

Any questions about Holley, post up. I think friend 3 want to also keep stock gauges on top of the larger holley screen so I can ask what additional info he has.

@wretched73 Stock gauges are a requirement.

Fortunately for me I think I’ve put 400 miles on it in 2 years? So perhaps a quin-annual maintenance item!

lucky... i just had to buy two new tires on my tractor because the ones i bought it with not only were shot - turned out they had tubes inside... which were also shot, and the only place in town that had the right size replacement tubes wouldn't put them in due to how cracked the tires were.

Past few days I have been getting into the truck with this absolutely RANK smell. Smelt like ****, something died or old old food (I do not eat in the truck but I have to transport my lunch somehow). Checked everywhere realizing that, while yes I need to clean the inside of the truck (been work trok too long) that there is no food or anything like that. Well I finally found it, put my hand down on the back carpet and it is wet. Looks like the cab vents decided to start leaking while it has been pouring down rain these past few days. I will get the cab vents on order and pull the bed on Sunday. Next week is supposed to be cold so I can drive the Silverado and let the Sierra sit for a bit. Ideally I would like to paint the frame while I have the bed off on this truck but I am not sure what will happen. We'll see I suppose.

Cab vents are leaking? That's odd, no? Are the little flaps missing somehow?

Yeah, I just saw the forecast. Lots of rain too. Mid week is supposed to be sunny at least. Can you pull the bed and fit the truck in your shop? I think most paints will cure down to about 35F, but being outside prepping and painting in the cold/wet sucks. Maybe wait for the following week for a warmup?

Are you sure it isn't leaking from the 3rd brake light?

@wretched73 @strutaeng I put my hand in this and it is filled with water. I did not think that this was connected to the 3rd brake light. I did check the headliner and it did not seem wet. I cannot remember if there were any stains (my brain says no) when I got it. I can’t really tell if there are anyway.

@strutaeng I have an immovable object at the moment

Photo with flash reveals a stain. I will get a 3rd brake light gasket as well. If that works I can always return the cab vents so no big deal.

Does the 3rd brake light leak down into that vent thing?

I'm not sure, but I know the 3rd brake light is the most common issue of a wet carpet lol
