Silverado SS build
Ok guys ive looked around on this site alot and have been a member for alittle while but never post. Here is my current Project a 2003 Silverado SS it had a 408 in it for a while (low compression) but apparently i messed the rings up building it so after i decided i wanted turbo now and not a rebuild/fixed 408 i went ahead and bought a 4.8L to throw in the truck for now with the turbo, turbo set up is a GT-K 1000 (76 with .96ar) with trick performance hot parts and custom DP, I just installed rod bolts and main cap studs in the 4.8 and also have head studs for my 6.0 heads that im gonna polish up, also going ls2 intake for now will upgrade to fast 92 and 225 afr or trick flow heads on the 408, i also plan on running e-85 with a complete new fuel system, this build has been on ls1truck for a while where i post as 408.Luke btw
Here is a vid i made for the truck will make more as the build progresses
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATMCB...e=channel_page

dug around my tool box and found this! will be going on my tailgate closest to 4.8 i can find
emerald green-color that block, timing cover, intake, ect will be
truck as it sits now

Yea, I keep forgetting you are running e85.. I wonder if there is even a need for an intercooler with that being you fuel source.
Also seeing how you are converting to e85 that means you will always need to run that fuel. No swapping in regular premium unless you have a back up tune in case no e85 is around.?
