Rad hose ran like that should free up some extra power. I'm glad your thinking smart and tied it down with a bungee strap. Likely to get wild under there with out it! Ha ha ha ha!

Keep in mind Richard with that intake it's gonna soak up a bunch of heat. One of the reasons I gave mine to Jake was because that ****** would get so damn hot it would essentially re-heat the incoming charge as well as cook wires and fuel lines that touched it. I acutally melted some boost reference lines and some wire loom that was touching my Pro-Flo.
I really have no idea if the composite intake really makes that much difference but that was something that became an issue for me. But my hot parts are so much more different than yours to where I don't think underhood head is that big of an issue as it is for me.

I have the pro-flo and it's never THAT hot. Ya it gets pretty warm but not to the point where it's melting ****.

I thought about that but figured with the amount of meth I'm spraying it will make that a none issue

I ran the truck NA with that intake and it got warm but never really hot. But once I put my turbo in the engine bay and all the relevant hot parts it became a whole different story. But I know my system generates alot more heat than most people's so my case is probably a little different but those intakes do get hot.

I did that at one of the Truckin throwdown events I was at, ran out of ice in 15 minutes!!
Again, this was just what happened with me, I'm assuming that it's not the case with most other people's set-ups.
Looking forward to hearing how you like the new intake!
