So I realized last night I made a mistake when checking pushrod length; I was checking cylinder number 1 when I should have been checking cyl 6. Base circle of number 1 is with the cam gear dot at 12 and crank dot at 12, not cam at 6 and crank at 12 (cyl 6). Rechecked and got zero lash measurements of 7.25 on the intake and 7.225 on the exhaust, so the 7.300 3/8" pushrods I got will still work fine, just with slightly less preload than originally (0.075).

That should still be fine.. From what I read the ls7s like alittle more preload closer to .100 but as long as it doesn't make a lot of racket you should be just fine
