Did you put the cam in the 5.3?
I have all of my interior if you need parts. They are gray so you would need to paint the blue or gray to match. Just figured I would offer.
Why awd? Just because you want to? I know you are looking for a sleeper but i don't think 4 street tires will hold 800 hp?
Good luck and hopefully this will work out better.

Awd because it would be different and fun...I want to have the stock rims widened, maybe the back ones to 11 wide, to run some thick drag radials or something nasty. Big advantage of a toy is you don't have to plan to drive in anything but good weather

I have been through some issues with my crew cab, after awhile, you ask yourself, why have I bastardized my perfectly good working, reliable, comfortable 6000lb daily driver truck, when I could get a rcsb for 4k, and be even faster, and still have my reliable daily driver? Thats why I bought a pretty much identical truck to yours to play with. Good luck with this project man, you deserve it!
And, I also thought if I had money & house /garage space, of buying another RC in same color & a Camaro to match mine. 2 DD's & 2 beasts.
Dreaming a little.
... I'm replacing the carpet and headliner...thinking hot pink **** carpet with a chandelier hanging from the ceiling
...

I'm thinkin the rims, but if chandelier fits, you've got a lot more room than my RCSB.
Toy or not, you're in AL, you've got good weather year round.

patience young padiwan
Im just thinking outloud about the wheels, probably end up with a 10" wide...might have to run spacers and fender flares on the rear. A 335 on the rear and 285 on the front would be pretty sick I think.

Sniped this off ebay for $100
thing is in perfect condition and my truck just lost 50k miles (yea i know it needs to be fixed)
Decided to go with some racing seats instead of trying to find factory replacements which would cost more anyway....gonna do a black interior, replacement factory carpet is in the $300 range, which is more than I want to spend on it...
Who makes a good bolt-in roll cage?
