Ive posted a couple videos in the last few pages.

I fixed my fuel level sensor today since I am using an 07 tank, an 04 bucket with sensor, and a 99 truck... The 99-02s go from 40 to 250 while the 03+ go from 250 to 40 (or I may have that backwards). On top of that, the connector on top of the bucket needs two wires switched. Since I am not using the factory pump or wiring, I switched the wires to the purple and orange/black are in the middle. I also attached a 99-02 sensor to the 04 bucket so I didnt have to resolder the sensor. Works perfectly.

Worked on tuning it today...I am getting some knock at around boost entry, not sure if its real or not or what is exactly is going on. Also I get a lot of misfires which prevents the converter from locking.

So in an effort to try and figure out the misfires/knock sensor activity I pulled all of the wires and plugs to check them out. All the wires tested good, around 30ohms, and all of the plugs looked good (pic below). However, I put the exhaust gasket on the driver side on backwards so the little tab was blocking the number 1 wire from fully engaging the plug. In order to turn it around with exhaust studs I had to loosen the crossover pipe slightly, and in doing so the o-ring gasket thing on the flanges fell out. That little bastard is impossible to get in the right spot without pulling the whole thing off so of course on the test drive I had a big exhaust leak.

In putting the plugs back in I thought I cracked one due to the weird angle because of the down pipe, and im glad I checked because I did. Today consisted of buying a new spark plug and installing that, and ordering a real flange gasket, not that stupid ring thing. I am going out of town for the rest of the week so this is where it sits as of now...

haha yep, always something, but ill take an exhaust leak over something serious any day

A lap belt in a vehicl isnt goin to do much good.... if your in a crash 90% of the time its forward motion and a lap belt is still gunna let your upper body eat the steering wheel. The lapbelt will keep you in the seat but other than that its not gunna help much.


Are yours sewn in richard? (shoulder belts sewn to lap belt)

Yea, they are sewn together. They are the corbeau ones so they are pretty high quality.

damn i didnt know you could even put the exhaust gaskets on backwards. I should check mine.
