Got the chance to put in my new front driveshaft from DSS. My 4th shaft from them, excellent guys. Fits perfect and clears the turbo crossover, oil feed, and transmission, albeit very closely. I had cut off my old yokes and sent them in and had them replace the ujoints with solid spicers and upgrade the shaft to their thicker steel, its still 2.75" od.

Also took the chance to measure the tires to make sure they are the same size since 4wd will not work if they arent...I measured the circumference to be less than 1/8" difference front to back, so I should be golden.

Now im working on installing the plugs and double checking some wiring.

Well I almost ******* died in a painful death a few minutes ago, lets just say raw fuel dumping onto turbo hot pipes is a big no no. More info in a minute. Truck is fine.

Does it go faster with the fuel on top of the turbo and hot side? Rather then being forced threw it? Your definatly trying new stuff on this one!

ha, no. The oring in the fuel rail above number 5 cylinder failed so fuel was spraying out of there for about ten minutes before I could get back home, lost probably 5-6 gallons. Its a miracle it didnt catch on fire.
