Haha, there is someone else in town with a turbo? Kinda surprised, didnt think there were alot of guys around here that did anything but talk.
Got some work done today. I ordered some shiny new wheel spacers for the rear that are 1.5" instead of the 2.5" I was using before. Takes a full 2" off the track width and fully tucks the tires which I think looks a lot better. Still have roughly 1.5" from the leaf springs.
Also notice my rear pass. caliper was getting nasty and was leaking...
Looks like I stripped the bolt hole when I first installed it...damn...those threads are M10x1.0 for anyone looking. Everywhere I looked said M10x1.5 but that is not correct. I tried to retap it but there just wasnt enough material, so I replaced the caliper from a reman from orileys, painted that rusty bracket black and good to go. Problem solved.
Also got my new spacers for the fuel rail, so I reinstalled the rail and used about 6 gallons of loctite on the bolts. Should be good to go on that front. Also taped the intake for 1/4" npt for the 3bar map and 3/8npt for the pvc fitting on the top of the intake.
I bought a PCM from a 2002 avalanche to switch in to try and alleviate the knock issue. This PCM appears to have a lot more options in it than the 99 pcm, so tuning should be easier. I just hope the knock issue is solved and I didnt do any harm limping it home with the leaking rail. Good thing I have a beast fuel pump.
