Cant you put some kind of boost gauge or what not pre intercooler to find out how much boost your losing without going back to the dyno?

I havent done it yet, but thats what we did on the dyno. I used my map sensor for manifold pressure and the dyno barometer for compressor pressure. I can hook up my analog boost gauge to the compressor cover temporarily...although it will be a bit of a pain. I have a feeling I will be able to feel a difference, and see it with the temp rise. I dont think its magical like foose's intercooler, but it should work alright.

I think he bought a better version and paid more compared to the ones that most guys on PT get off Ebay for around $150. He seems to keep most of his boost too.

Because his IATs drop as he makes a pass down the track.

Because its so good the output temperature actually drops during a run while under boost.

Foose's intercooler also cost $600 I used them on a couple big kits, they are NICE!

I went and drove around tonight to test it out...Im not exactly sure what it is, but the truck feels stronger than usual. Most likely a combination of the better intercooler, bigger compressor wheel, and more timing, but it just feels stronger all around. I did a quick 0-80 4wd launch like I did before and the temp rise was slightly lower, but it was by no means a fair test. I havent measured the pressure drop yet, mainly because my analog gauge is sticking, but so far it seems good!
