swap 5.7 vortec for ls1 ?
has anyone on here done this? I have a 2000 yukon denali with a 5.7 that needs replaced, i wanted to look into dropping in an ls1 insted of the old 5.7. It has the 4l60e transmission in it. I figure i would need a new wiring harness and ecm, am i overlooking somehting, i am by no means a master mechanic.
