Should be able to fit 285/70/17s with no rubbing if you crank the keys up a tad.

Put a few more cars on the dyno recently. Had a right hand drive imported del sol with a sir2 b16a in it (rated at 170bhp from the factory) with bolt ons exhaust and tuned it made 145/114 tq which seems about on par with what ive seen other b16’s put down on the old dyno I used to tune on allot. Also tuned a H2b H23a dohc vtec del sol today that had quality bolt ons that made 234/190tq which might be about 5-8% high from other motors I’ve seen but also having a b series trans mated to it could be the reason for the higher power output. Car felt super strong on the street and I knew it was going to put down good numbers for what it was so I’m thinking maybe my dyno isn’t as high or as off as I had originally thought. That being said after I dial in the alignment on the s10 I will probably give the hoe a good wash and bring her into the garage to finally start installing the Texas speed stage 2 cam I have for it. I also picked up a nnbs intake manifold 100% complete off eBay for a steal at like 124 bucks shipped with fuel rails, throtttle body and all sensors in tact, gotta see what would be needed to run that throttle body on the Tahoe but it would be interesting to do the cam swap, dyno tune it and then do the intake manifold swap and dyno tune it again so I can overlay the graphs and see where the power gains are made.

Put some 2” wheel spacers on the burborator and cranked the torsion keys a little bit. Pretty happy with how it looks for almost no money spent. Have some black fender flares coming for it, I didn’t realize they were so cheap on eBay, pretty happy about that. I’m a little mad at myself for throwing away all 5 black textured door handles from my Tahoe before moving. I thought I would never need or use them but now I think they would look allot better then the white oe ones on the burb.

I would really like to find a set of the 18” newer Tahoe/ burban wheels and go with a similar sized tire. Just gotta wait for the right deal for it. I found a set of 275/65/18’s Cooper adventurer tires on craigslist that look super nice for $200 but I don’t have a set of wheels for them. I should probably just pick the tires up anyways and wait for something to come along.

I like those too. There’s a set on craigslist right now for like 325 but the finish on them looks pretty nasty like they drove it when the roads were salted or something.

I almost bought a set for like 300 when I was looking for wheels. Couldn't find any tires I liked for them though so I quit on them.

I picked up a set of 17” silverado wheels today for free from a guy off offerup so I’m gonna look for some 285/70/17’s for them or 275/70/17’s just whatever I can find for a good deal with good tread on them. Also picking up a manco dingo go kart later today for my kid. I figured it would be the easiest way to get him into cars and stuff and get him off the video games. Pretty happy with my little gm collection lol. I think I’m going to sell my corvette next spring because I like my trucks more and rarely drive it. I’ll probably pick up a few more trucks when it sells because I got room for them and why not.

I want to see the vette do a fat burnout on the slab then slide into the mud sideways with 3rd gear pegged to the limiter! Do a few mud donuts stop, then pop out and give us a hell yeah!
