Well 5 days after I placed my order, Amazon finally shipped out my wheel hub today and will be here tomorrow. So hopefully I can get that done this weekend or next. Which will allow me to get going on dropping the truck another 2" and alignment soon.

Also did a couple little things for aesthetics. Replaced the corner light marker bulbs with amber ones(since there are no yellow reflectors now and didnt match the turn signal bulbs) and also replaced the factory DRL bulbs with Sylvania Silverstar bulbs. These things are BRIGHT!!! They have a light blue tint on the bulb but the burn pure white, not the slight yellow that the clear bulbs do. Think im going to go back and pick up some matching low beam bulbs tomorrow.

Not really an update but just want to bump this up. Justin won't be in my area to tune again until the end of October, so I wont get the trans parts installed until sometime after the first weekend in October. I dont want to take a chance of having the trans fail. Going to replace my hub and do an oil change tomorrow, as well as put on my "winter" wheels with 265/60-18 tires. I feel like this bad wheel hub is slowing me down ever so slightly and with the 285/50-20s im running now, the best Ive ran is a 10.11. Will be hitting the local 1/8 mile Wednesday to see if I can pull off a 9.9 or better in 4WD finally. If I can I'll be content until spring time. And Im REALLY hoping by then Ill be close to getting the turbo stuff done. Its been a long time coming, but Im a believer of doing everything right the first time. No matter how long it takes .

I hope you hit your 9's man. I know how you feel I'm chasing them too (10.39 1/8).

Thanks man!

My previous best on the smaller wheels/tires was 10.13. But that was with a bad fuel pump and regulator. Ive since replaced both (new pump is a 255 walbro) and got retuned for the adde fuel pressure. Managed a 10.11 with the larger tires after all that (previous best on larger tires was like a 10.2x something). So im feeling pretty confident I can knock one out!

Yeah I agree, you should hit the 9's with no worries at all.

Ill be happy if I do that's for sure!

Got the new hub put on today. Old one felt like it was full of sand when you turned it. Also changed the oil. Just gotta swap out to my smaller wheels/tires and hopefully tomorrow I'll get my 9.99 or better ET (in 4WD).

Well guys I did it! I finally got into the 9s (1/8 mile)!!!

I also managed to do it on my 20" wheel/tire setup. Wasnt able to run my 18" wheel/tire setup due to a couple valve stems dry rotting over the winter and wouldnt hold air.

Here's a link to all the details in the Drag Racing section since I dont feel like typing it all out again.

Parts update

Ordered these very well put together little guys last week from Brian (supercharger connection). Ive got to say these are the best spark plug wires Ive ever seen.

I also couldnt pass up on a Spectre CAI for my S10 that was $150! Got this PITA put on today. Very nice kit, but the old crap sucked getting out of there and the fit of the new intake wasnt quite perfect but not too bad. Hardest part was getting the IAT sensor in through the grommet. For the little 2.2L that my S10 has, this kit makes a nice difference from 2500rpm and up.

Those plug wires do look good. Are they truck specific or did you just get them for a LS engine?
