Yea Justin has the trans tuned really well. Seems to handle the abuse no problem, for now.
It has it's days though. Sometimes it won't downshift all the way into 1st and I'll go from a stop and you can feel it finally go into 1st. But that's rare.
My PB is 9.85@71.67 in 4WD in the 1/8. I was hoping to beat that this spring, but the crappy half-assed tune the shop did made me go slower even with the cam. I haven't been back since Justin got the tune straight or since adding the LTs and ORY. I was hoping to get passed a 9.5@73+ with just the cam. Now I'm hoping to be somewhere around 9.2-9.0@75ish. This would be in 4WD as well.

Well truck is having a random misfire issue. I haven't had a chance yet but im going to pull plugs and wires from #5 and #7 where the header hump is. I think I may have burned one up since I didn't get a plug sock on them yet.
Also, these headers are an EXTREMELY tight clearance on my truck. They are touching the frame on both sides and I may have to dent the driver header some to clear the front drive shaft.

Yeah, no doubt about that man. That would have really sucked.
Years back I had a 1990 F150 with a stout 302 that was constantly eating the stock AOD transmissions. I toasted a trans at the strip once, and I had to drive 65 miles back home in 2nd gear. It wasn't a long trip mile wise, but it damn sure took a long time to get home that day. Especially with 4.10 gears

That would not be fun!
Checked a log file I saved right after getting my headers on(before plug wire started to burn up) and delivered torque was 332ft/lbs and based off lb/min and calculated flywheel hp, I should be right at 330hp at the tires. Which to me would be a nice gain over 300/310 with just tune, LTs and ory. Now I NEED to hit the track!!!
