Its hurting too. I need to do something with it before I spit an axle out

Is that an 8.0??? I heard the 09 up V8 model had an 8.5 or an 8.625.

What would you up grade to???

Ya currently it is a 8.0. the v8 models had a 8.6 which I think is what the full size guys have right?

I'm not sure that I would shove in there. Whatever it is it needs to have disks on the back.

8.8 out of a Explorer can be had for cheap. A 9.5 out of a tbss wuold be easier but expensive

A TBSS 9.5 is 4/5 link rear end. There are 2 on ebay on the east coast in the $500 range.

An 8.8 would have a lower initial cost but depending on how you wanted to out fit it, it could cost just as much or more.

In that little Colorado the 8.625 might actually hold. Either way I would put a better locker, a TA girdle cap, and weld the center tubes to the casting with a line up bar.
