First motor had zero oil in the top-end when I took it apart, needless to say, it was scrap. Second motor I just did a few minor things for the spray; piston rings, head bolts, gutted the manifold, etc., and hit it with a 70-100 shot USUALLY, but hit it with what equated to a little over a ~125 shot at times. Got the LSX together almost like I wanted it, and it lasted about 1000 miles--let a family member borrow the truck (couldn't drive at the time, and my older uncle needed had no vehicle), figuring that it wouldn't hurt, and by the time it had three tanks of 87 through it without me knowing, it was fugged up. I literally didn't get to enjoy the truck, at all. Sold the parts I could on Racing Junk, and now I'm back with a fully assembled 5.3 out of a 2001 Silverado, 115K-ish miles, sitting on a stand and a 2.8 in the truck, once again. No nitrous, no nothing. I've still got the harness and all for the LS swap, and the only other thing changed was the bell housing for the trans. and the gas pedal. So...I'm back to the drawing boards.

What are the guys on 355 saying about it? I remember lurking on the site for a total of like 3-4 hours one night, and I couldn't take it. Some tool was commenting on how Precision turbos weren't worth a ****, and he's the fastest 3.7 or something like that? I'm definitely impressed with your truck.

That sounds just like s10forum, I cant stand that forum. I always hung out solely in the 4.3 section and blowers and bottles, there was only about 8-10 of us who kept that section going. The rest of the s10forum ******** didnt bother in there.

Some think its silly that I use a $20 live well pump instead of a Bosch cobra pump for the a2w.
I just see it as resourceful. If that pump broke today...I would feel like I got my 20 bucks out of it.
And I could replace it with something from. 14,000 sports/fishing stores in Dallas lol

Wasn't Black X on that forum doing work with a 408 and PT88 at one point? I wonder if that ever got brought up to the douche who said precision turbos were ****. Some people, they start typing or otherwise open their mouth and nothing but garbage comes out.
