blackx has a build thread on s10 forum and last time I checked it was still going I think.. I rarely log into that forum.. its junk, I check the threads im subscribed to and move on..

love the colorado forum.. bunch of good folks over there and a lot of information..

its also the internet.. so if you get butt hurt and cry about a forum because there are a few douchebags on it.. might as well quit it as a whole

thats what the ignore button or scroll button are for, there are SEVERAL people on the colorado forum (and other forums) im sure 05quick knows who Im referring to) I read what they say shake my head.. and continue on with my life

Ya I agree with alowdime, I only get on that forum for a few sections and the other sections are becoming flame infested. But enough about that place. You are seriously making me want to buy a Colorado and turbo the damn thing lol. I hate you.....

Damn! 19#'s on a stock i5?? I had no idea they're engines were built that stout! Any info on the internals? Are the similar to the LS? Also, a guess on how much rwhp on yours with 19#'s?

The engine isn't similar to the LS line, at all. I sprayed over a 125 shot on a nearly stock 4-cylinder plenty of times.

Ya I don't think there is any resemblance to the LS stuff at all. And I'm on the corn juice so we all know what a help that is in the big boost/stock motor challenge. But ya as far as this engine goes I have actually only seen a few pictures of one even taken apart. Its a 2 bolt main from what i can tell but the main caps are the size of a Boeing 747. Also I think the rods are powdered metal in construction.

There have only been a handful of people boost these but most of them pop them within the first couple of miles. Just goes to show its all a tuning game.

That's with everything. It's all in the tune. You can have the best stuff in the world but if your tune isn't right your not going anywhere.

A friend of mine turbo'd one and it broke connecting rods on the dyno after making at 38Xwhp.
