It is... but now many times can we tell him?

Whats scary is how obvious it is that's happening when looking at a log and Zippy still isn't changing it. Maybe he feels it's fine, and knows its helping him achieve more MPH on the big end. It makes me glad I tune my own vehicle.

More MPH but most likely slower ET.

Never heard a relock after shift so is it staying locked on shift?

I told Zippy to make sure it doesn't lock during the shifts and he supposedly did that, but yes it does lock up while in second gear, which Chuck told me was okay to do - just so long as it wasn't locked during the shift.

The reason I didn't break into 11's is because of the fuel pump - it can't keep up with the boost the truck's making.

Badass truck bud !

The date on your vid has me ??????? 2013 ?
Thanks Tim. I'm very happy with the Vigilante and cam from FTI, the mid and top end are really awesome. Yeah, I never adjusted the date on that vid, but it's from last Friday Nite.

I don't think it is unlocking for the shift. I'd be careful there.

Your converter should be plenty efficient up top... I wouldn't bother with the 2nd gear lock.

<<<@!1!@>>>

Right when I go WOT, wideband drops to around 12.30 briefly then settles in around mid to upper 12's. here's a vid I made right after I hooked my fuel pressure gauge up.

Your fuel pressure doesnt even drop by that much.

From what I see you are slightly too fat when under decent acceleration, but too lean when WOT. When you are approaching 0 manifold pressure you should be at approx 12.8 AFR. In boost you should be closer to 11.8 with the boost you are making. I know Zippy likes to lean out his PE as RPM increases, but he went a little overboard here.

The video was made right after I hooked my fuel pressure gauge up and was specifically made for Zippy so he could make adjustments to the tune based on what the gauges were reading as I don't know how to hook my gauges into the HPT program, or if that's even possible. The tune that was in the truck at the time of the video was the result of him adding a huge amount of fuel to the tune as a test to see what the fuel pump was doing - to determine whether or not the pump was sufficient enough to handle the 3.0" pulley for the track. Previous to that, I was simply logging a test run with WOT bursts and telling him what the wideband would drop down to. I made the vid to show him that it would drop to 12.10 (for example) for a brief moment and then climb to upper 12's the longer I stayed in it. After that vid, he sent me the tune that's in the truck now, so it is different from the vid.
